aarts & co provided all furniture for the new headquarters of Heerema Marine Contractors. The first three floors are fitted for general use, with a plaza with entrance and staff restaurant, sports facility, conference center, stimulation room and bar. The other floors hold the offices where aarts & co created 1.500 work spaces, boardrooms and (in)formal open and closed meeting rooms. aarts & co also played an advisory role in this process.
Fall 2015, Heerema Marine Contractors Nederland SE moved into the new headquarters in the familiar surroundings of the city of Leiden. The office is 12 stories high and covers a surface area of 22.800 m2. Heyligers design + projects were responsible for the design.
Heerema Marine Contractors is specialized in designing, building, installing and transporting offshore facilities for the oil and gas industry.
